About this project, privacy & affiliation

Travel Planner is an independent, non-commercial hobby project built and maintained by Vinicius Murari in Dublin, Ireland. It is free, sells nothing and takes no payment of any kind.

No affiliation. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any airline, hotel, travel agency or booking company. Where the app links to sites such as Booking.com, Airbnb or Skyscanner, it simply opens their ordinary public search pages in a new tab. It never asks you for a password or payment detail belonging to those companies.

Your data. The only credentials this site handles are the email and password of an account you create here, which are managed by Supabase authentication. Optional third-party keys (for example an Anthropic API key you supply for the AI itinerary feature) are stored only in your own browser and are sent directly to that provider — never to this site.

tips_and_updates Your browser stores data only on this device. To open the same trips on another Mac, link a JSON file in your iCloud folder — iCloud syncs it automatically.

Setup (once per Mac)

On MacBook: create trip_sync.json in the same folder (button below).
On iMac: open the HTML — saves are pulled automatically if the file is already in iCloud.
To write on iMac, link the file once (reads are already automatic).
Use Safari or Chrome for best local file compatibility.

Without GitHub / token (simpler)

On Mac: open the HTML from iCloud and link trip_sync.json — each save writes to the same file.
On iPad (web): trips load automatically; when editing, use Export all and save to iCloud (or send to Mac). On Mac: Import all or open the linked JSON.
No token needed for this flow.

Automatic GitHub (optional)
